In the most beautiful part of the “Eggegebirge”, embedded in mountains, meadows and forests, you will find the “Haus Eggewald” close to the town of Alt-Blankenrode which was destroyed in the 14th century. It is secluded, well-kept and furnished with modern furniture. Our various restoration facilities for groups of 30 – 100 persons meet the requirements of any occasion. We are particularly well equipped for those looking for a rest as well as holiday guests.
In our guest rooms you will find state-of-the-art comfort with your own shower/WC or bath/WC, TV and loggia. For the holiday guests a separate lounge with fire-place and television as well as a lawn are available. In the building next door there is a separate skittle-alley and above you will find a small, cosy sauna for approximately 4 people, a solarium and a rest room.
The food – like the breakfast – is rich and tasty. At our place still good Westphalian cooking and homemade cakes are served. Our specialities are game dishes and homemade cold cuts.
